Behind the Poet

Born in Havana, Cuba in 1989, Ramiro Valdes is a Cuban American poet. Formerly an attorney, he is now disabled by MECFS and focuses on writing poetry from his bed. His poems deal with love, nature and illness. His work has appeared in several literary magazines such as

The Galway Review, Down in the Dirt,
Everscribe and The Raven’s Perch.
